Hello

My name is Ashley Hart; I was born and raised around the Wichita area.  I was the first female completer of the CAD/CAM Drafting and Design Program at Andale High School.  In college I gravitated towards science and ceramics.  I married a man in the Navy and we traveled around a bit early in our marriage.  We returned to Wichita, KS and I am now a mother of 3 beautiful children.

My Story

I was introduced to the dental field while we lived in San Diego, California.  I got accepted into Pima Medical Institute where I completed the Dental Assisting program with full honors.   I got a job with a Smile Generation office, there they performed implant surgery where I was exposed to full mouth restorations using CEREC and dental surgery including full mouth extractions, immediate placement and flapping a full arch for all on 4 implant placement.  After moving back to Kansas, found my way back into the dental field after attending Barton School of Business at Wichita State University for 18 months.  I decided that my passion was still in the dental field.

I have worked as a dental assistant for general dentists for 9 years and love chairside assisting.  Over the years I have completed 6-8 Cosmetic Crowns Chairside, Implant Screw Retained Crowns Chairside, Implant Bridges, planned complex cases from extraction to implant-supported dentures.

Due to working for an extremely supportive dentist I was able to obtain 12 + CE hours for guided implant surgery, implant planning, and Surgical guide fabrication.  I continue to strive to obtain knowledge to improve myself and my knowledge of digital dentistry.   In my experience there is nothing more frustrating than informing your patient that the tooth on their implant can't be designed any other way due to a poorly placed implant - which is what I strive to change for dentists and patients in Wichita.

I hope to bring the luxury of digital dentistry to offices in Wichita that struggle trusting large labs with no personal interaction or offices that are not ready to invest in the equipment or the staff to operate it.
